TradFest, Ireland’s leading trad and folk festival, returns in January 2026 to celebrate its 21st year, bringing some of the finest traditional and folk musicians to venues across Dublin.
As part of this much-loved winter festival, Malahide Castle and Gardens will once again host a series of intimate TradFest concerts on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th January 2026, set within the unique surroundings of the Castle grounds.
Concerts at Malahide Castle will take place in the Project Room at the Visitor Centre, offering audiences a cosy and up-close live music experience in a historic setting.

These performances form part of TradFest’s wider programme, which runs from 21st – 25th January 2026, featuring concerts and sessions across Dublin city centre, Fingal, South Dublin and Dún Laoghaire – Rathdown.
TradFest is renowned for showcasing both celebrated names and emerging talent in traditional and folk music, with performances taking place in some of Dublin’s most atmospheric venues.
